My experience working with Tammy Thompson at simply.real.design. was really fun and enjoyable. She was observant, creative, and responsive to questions or concerns. She has access to wonderful people in the trades and resources if there are jobs you cannot do yourself. My friends especially comment on how beautifully the scale of my new furniture fits in the space and how "it is so you!" I think Tammy truly understood my taste and it turned out perfectly. Tammy is a delight to work with. On our first project, she helped us pick the perfect color for our painted bookshelves, she arranged items we already had, and she purchased some great new items for the shelves. Fast forward four years later when we wanted to update our master bedroom & bathroom, our family room, and our kitchen cabinets. She quickly understood what we were looking for, even if we weren't completely sure ourselves. She is a good listener and can read between the lines. Tammy has a keen sense of style, color, and design, and she can help you find the perfect pieces for your space, while being mindful of your budget. She is also very accessible. We absolutely love the results. We would not change a thing. We would highly recommend Tammy.

My husband and I recently remodeled our kitchen and updated our main living area. We felt nervous as we were selecting our cabinets, countertops, flooring, and paint color. We were given Tammy's name and we called her as a second set of eyes to make sure our selections went together. Tammy came into our home and I trusted her immediately. She was honest and reassured us that our selections would create the space we hoped for. When our project was complete, we hired Tammy to hang our family pictures (and we have a lot of them) and our art work. She hung pieces in unique places. When we began our bathroom remodel project, we were excited, but also stressed about the vast number of design and decorating decisions that we needed to make. Luckily, we were introduced to Tammy very early in our project. From the very beginning, Tammy took the time to get to know our unique design preferences and project budget, as well as the features and functions that would best fit our family. We benefited tremendously from Tammy's experience and eye towards detail. She helped us with every last detail; everything from the color palette, to the flooring, to the medicine cabinet and lighting, to the vanity, countertop and faucets, and even the towel bars. We really appreciated her no pressure attitude and constructive feedback throughout the project. We love absolutely everything about our new bathroom and would definitely recommend Tammy's services to anyone looking for design and decorating help on any project!

Tammy has consulted with us on two occasions in two different homes. In both cases, she moved us into areas we had not considered before. She thoughtfully listened to our needs and reflected on the spaces. Her ideas of color, accessorizing, and space utilization made a big impact on the overall effect. Perhaps most importantly, were the small things she suggested - wall hangings, furniture orientations, and seasonal arrangements. Inexpensive changes, but made a big difference. Tammy is by far the best designer we have worked with. We had a foyer, stairway and second story hallway in need of a refresh. Out with the green striped wallpaper, green carpet and pink ceramic tile and in with Tammy's updated, yet classic color and texture palette that looks current now and will in the future. Tammy listened to us, worked with us and delighted us with her design. We have found a designer for life!
